As with assembling most things, whether an Ikea flat pack, or a classic car, the order in which things are put together is pretty important. This is especially true of the Type 34 interior. The interior trim is installed in … Continue reading

Sunvisors wanted

Hi. I am trying to locate some good condition sun visors, preferably from a RHD car or two drivers side if from a LHD drive car.

Light colour is preferred as I intend to dye them to match my headliner.

Thanks.

Mick

Wanted - Front Bumper Centre Section

G'day.

I am in need of some bumper sections - mostly the front centre section, but also a rear centre section as well.

Must be VGC - original (not repaired or re-chromed) and straight.

Also interested in corner sections, but only if perfect.

Send me a message if you can help out.

Mick.

Hi Steve, and welcome to The Registry.

I'm wondering if your exhaust baffles are rusted out. It's pretty uncommon but not unheard of, especially on cars that have only been used on very short trips. This is because the exhaust never gets hot enough to dry them out and so they rust from the insid

I agree, the seal appears to be in two parts, a vinyl wrapped tubular piece and the 'P' shaped rubber coated foam piece. The groove you talk about is the tail of the 'P' I mentioned (if that makes sense) - perhaps it's more of an apostrophe in cross section than a 'P'.
