Mick replied to the topic Re: Seal for hinge pillar in the forums.I agree, the seal appears to be in two parts, a vinyl wrapped tubular piece and the 'P' shaped rubber coated foam piece. The groove you talk about is the tail of the 'P' I mentioned (if that makes sense) - perhaps it's more of an apostrophe in cross section than a 'P'.
